There is a strong demand for people with these skills and therefore one is able to start their own business with much more easy than one would have in a field that has been around for a long time.

Also the job skills one must posses are very global, meaning that the need is not strictly in one area. Many people in this field rarely meet with clients, instead using the tool of their trade, the Internet, to keep in touch. This eliminates desk time and gives one more freedom in the way they live their life.

These qualities make search engine optimization a wonderful field for anyone who desires more freedom than the normal nine-to-five-suit-and-tie jobs offer.
